The disclosure relates to a method for controlling a deceleration request in a one-pedal-driving mode of a vehicle (10), the deceleration request comprising a deceleration level being a function of a position of a drive pedal (12) of the vehicle (10), the method comprising: receiving a vehicle stability information, the vehicle stability information being indicative for the driving stability of the vehicle (10), comparing the vehicle stability information to a vehicle stability information threshold, and triggering a reduction of the deceleration level of the deceleration request if the vehicle stability information exceeds the vehicle stability threshold. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a corresponding computer program product (26), a corresponding data processing apparatus (20), and a corresponding vehicle (10).
