A motorcycle tire comprises a tread portion provided with a block pattern. The block pattern comprises block groups each consisting of at least five blocks Bg arranged along an oblique zone x so that the centroids M of the treads of the blocks Bg are positioned within the oblique zone X. The oblique zone x has a width of not more than 4 mm. The oblique zone X is inclined at an angle ± of from 1 to 10 degrees with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
