The present disclosure relates to a pre-chamber body (22) of an internal combustion engine and a related method for operating the internal combustion engine. The pre-chamber body (22) may comprise a pre-chamber (36) defined by an inner pre-chamber face (32), and at least one protrusion (40) extending from the inner pre-chamber face (32) inwards. Thus, it may be possible to generate high turbulences in an ignition region of the pre-chamber (36), which may increase ignitability within the pre-chamber (36).
