SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING EQUIPMENT

A transportation system (S) of equipment, in particular a railway rail (RN), comprising at least one structural beam (1) comprising a longitudinal body (10) comprising a first connection end (11) and a second connection end (12) and connection means (13) adapted to be connected to said equipment, and at least a first mobile unit (2) and a second mobile unit (2') which are independent, each mobile unit (2, 2') comprising a chassis and at least one connection member for connecting to the first connection end (11) and to the second connection end (12) of the structural beam (1) in order to support it, each mobile unit (2, 2') further comprising road travel means (3, 3') capable of allowing the displacement of said chassis (20, 20') on a road or the like.
