The invention relates to a method for driving an aircraft wheel in rotation, the wheel being equipped with a rim comprising two half-rims assembled by bolts (5), in which a drive member is controlled to generate a driving torque for the wheel, characterized in that the method comprises the transfer of the driving torque to the wheel via the rim assembly bolts.
