SOLENOID SWITCH AND VEHICLE STARTER MOTOR

The present invention discloses a solenoid switch for use in a vehicle starter motor, comprising: a housing; a cover carrying a pair of contact posts, one end of the cover being fixed to the housing; and a magnetic core fitted in the housing opposite to the end of the cover, wherein an engaging structure between the magnetic core and the housing is independent of the cover such that a force acting on the magnetic core in a direction toward the end of the cover can be absorbed by the engaging structure. The invention also discloses a vehicle starter motor comprising the above solenoid switch. The inventive solenoid switch and vehicle starter motor can prevent an axial movement of the cover.
