Method for operating an air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle
DRIVE
January 20, 2016
A method for operating the air conditioning system of a motor vehicle (1) is provided. Fresh air from outside the motor vehicle (1) is supplied to a first evaporator (20a) and cooled by the first evaporator (20a) to a first temperature, which is less than 10°C. Recirculated air from a passenger compartment (4) of the motor vehicle (1) is supplied to a second evaporator (20b) and cooled by the second evaporator (20b) to a second temperature. The fresh air cooled by the first evaporator (20a) and the recirculated air cooled by the second evaporator (20b) are directed into the passenger compartment (4). The second evaporator (20b) is operated such that the second temperature is higher than the first temperature, and that the cooling of the recirculated air takes place substantially free of condensation.
