The module (12) forms a body component (22) for a motor vehicle (2) and contributes to the external aesthetics of the vehicle (2). It is intended to be mounted on a bodyshell (4) of the vehicle (2). It comprises electrical means for interior lighting (14), intended to illuminate the interior of a cabin of the vehicle (2), and connection means (18) to an electrical power supply of the interior lighting means (14).
