SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE POWER SUPPLY OF A PLURALITY OF LIGHT SOURCES USING A MULTIPHASE CONVERTER

The invention relates to a device and method for controlling the electrical power supply to a plurality of light sources, preferably light-emitting diodes, LEDs. The plurality of light sources is divided into at least two groups of light sources. The invention is noteworthy in that it allows the use of a multiphase boost converter for all groups of light sources, while the measurements of the input currents of each of the phases of the converter provide a reliable indication of the power level required by one of the supplied groups.
