The invention relates to a swing door construction (10) for a motor vehicle, preferably a bus. The swing door construction (10) comprises at least one pivotable door leaf (1), at least one guide mechanism (2, 3) for the door leaf (1) and at least one switch (4), preferably a pressure shaft switch, for detecting whether the door leaf (1) encounters an obstacle during a closing process. The swing door construction (10) is characterized in particular by the fact that the switch (4) is fixed to the door leaf (1) and is pivotable together with the door leaf (1).
