The invention solves the task of reducing the time-related use of brushes, simplifying and accelerating the cleaning and polishing process in order to enable higher throughput of vehicles through the treatment facility, as well as achieving a simplification of the vehicle treatment facility and thus a reduction of the costs for the facility and its operation, by means of a method for cleaning and polishing a vehicle comprising the steps a) applying a combined cleaning and polishing agent to the vehicle surfaces of the vehicle (F) to be treated, and b) cleaning and polishing the vehicle surfaces already provided with cleaning and polishing agent during and/or immediately after the application of the cleaning and polishing agent to these vehicle surfaces, a combined aqueous cleaning and polishing agent comprising one or more substance(s) acting as gloss-forming agent and paint care product, a washing and cleaning system comprising a cleaning and dispersing system and a foam-forming agent, and optionally a pH-adjusting agent, optionally a solubilizing agent, and optionally additional auxiliaries, as well as a vehicle treatment facility (9; 10; 21) for carrying out the method.",
