METHOD FOR MANAGING THE BRAKING OF AN AIRCRAFT WHEEL

Method for managing braking of a wheel (4) of an aircraft (1) equipped with a brake (11), the aircraft comprising brake control means adapted to implement an anti-skid function of the wheel (4) requiring an estimation of a rotational speed of the wheel, the aircraft further comprising means for driving the wheel including an electric motor (6) intended to drive the wheel (4) in rotation, said electric motor (6) being provided with a position sensor (8) intended to supply measurements of angular position of a rotor of the motor (6). The method comprises the step, in order to implement the anti-skid function, of estimating the rotational speed of the wheel (4) from the measurements of angular position of the rotor supplied by the position sensor (8).
