DEVIDING AND/OR RETAINING NET

A separation and/or retention net (1) has an elastic mesh fabric part (2), whose mesh openings or diamonds (11) are formed by strand groups (7, 8) running inclined to one another, each having multiple net strands (9, 10), and an elastic edge member (3) which is arranged at least at a partial section of the mesh fabric edge. In the case of the separation and/or retention net (1) according to the invention, the net strand sections (12) forming the mesh openings or diamonds (11) are designed in dependence on their arrangement in the mesh fabric part (2) such that the elastic edge member (3) of the separation and/or retention net in the installed state thereof has only a very low sag or no sag at all.
