  "textContent": "The invention relates to a method and a device for determining available parking spaces on truck parking lots and communicating them to truck drivers. According to the invention, at least one central server (3) (computer) and a plurality of trucks (4, 5, 6, 8) participating in the method are connected via a wireless, bidirectional communication device by means of a server module and respectively a truck module carried in a truck (4, 5, 6, 8). In the central server (3), position data as well as information regarding the capacity of truck parking lots (2) are stored and/or generated. In a parked truck (4, 5, 6), position data of the parking positions are recorded and transmitted to the server (3). The server (3) determines from such position data of several trucks (4, 5, 6) the number of parked procedure-relevant trucks (4, 5, 6) corresponding to occupied parking spaces at a specific truck parking lot (2). By means of a comparison with the server data regarding capacity, the server (3) establishes a probability of possibly available parking spaces (1) and communicates this information about the probability of available parking spaces at this truck parking lot (2) to drivers (9) of procedure-relevant trucks (8).",
