The invention concerns a vehicular liquid storage system, the system comprising a tank and a liquid dispensing pump (2) having an inlet (1) and a bypass circuit outlet (4) arranged within said tank; the inlet (1) and the bypass circuit outlet (4) are arranged in such a way that, if a vertical liquid density gradient is present, liquid having a first density is taken in by the inlet and moved through the bypass circuit outlet (4) to a portion of the tank containing liquid having a second density, with the second density being lower than the first density.
