Pivotable internal mirror for a vehicle

The invention relates to a tiltable interior mirror (100) for a vehicle, comprising a tilting device (102) which is designed to move the interior mirror (100) from a normal position (110) to a dipped position (112), wherein in the dipped position (112) glare of a driver of the vehicle caused by the interior mirror (100) is reduced; and an operating device (103) which is designed to activate the tilting device (102) in response to a movement of the driver. The invention further relates to a method therefor.
