A light guide (30) for a motor vehicle lighting device (28) is presented, which light guide has at least two light entry surfaces (42.1, 42.2) and a light exit surface (44) and is configured to preferentially illuminate a first zone of the light exit surface with light coupled in via a first (42.1) of the at least two light entry surfaces and to preferentially illuminate a second zone of the light exit surface, which is not identical to the first zone, with light coupled in via a second (42.2) of the at least two light entry surfaces. The light guide is distinguished by the fact that it has a deflection surface (46) which has multiple sectors (56.1, 56.2) and is configured to direct light coupled in via a light entry surface onto one of the sectors, which directs this light onto one of the zones.
