In this case, the air filter is to be designed and arranged in such a way that, on the one hand, by separating large dirt particles before the fresh air strikes a filter element, an extension of the service life of the air filter is achieved even under extreme exposure of the fresh air to dust and large particles. On the other hand, the maintenance intervals for manual cleaning of the air filter or replacement of the fine filter element are to be extended and simplified. Therefore, the air filter (10) is fixed to one of the frame parts (3) or to an element of the driver's cab connected to the frame part, and has an external housing (11) with an overall prism-like external contour, whose longitudinal extension in its installed position extends essentially vertically and is formed on one of its outer, longitudinally extending side sections by the frame part (3) or the element connected to it.",
