A fastener (10) for fastening an attached part or trim part, which is provided with an opening, to a stud of a support part has a supporting body (11) made of rigid plastic with a hole (12) for accommodating the stud and a flange (15). A damping element (20) covers the flange (15). The damping element (20) is made of a flexible, elastomeric plastic and forms an extension (23) that extends from the flange (15) in axial direction beyond the end of the supporting body (11) and is adapted to be inserted through the opening in the attached part or trim part. The damping element (20) produces vibration and sound isolation between the support part and the attached part or trim part.
