Control valve for a fuel injector and fuel injector

The invention relates to a solenoid valve for a fuel injector, in particular a common-rail fuel injector, comprising a magnetic assembly (1) for acting upon an axially movable armature (2) which is connected to or forms a valve closing element (3), wherein the valve closing element (3) cooperates with a valve seat (4) which is preferably formed in a valve piece (5). According to the invention, the valve closing element (3) cooperating with the valve seat (4) has the shape of a bolt and is axially movably guided via a stationary sleeve-shaped guide element (6). Furthermore, the invention relates to a fuel injector having such a solenoid valve.
