The invention relates to a headrest (1), comprising a central part (5), a fastening means (2) for fastening the central part (5) to a backrest (3) of a vehicle seat, and at least one side wing (6). The side wing (6) is pivotably mounted relative to the central part (5) between a neutral position and at least one comfort position and is fixable at least in the comfort position. The fastening means (2) is designed to pivotably mount the central part (5) relative to the backrest (3) about a horizontal pivot axis (7). The central part (5) is pivotably movable between a parked position and at least one support position and is fixable at least in the support position. Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle seat with such a headrest (1).
