The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a seat cushion part and a backrest cushion part, wherein the seat cushion part and/or the backrest cushion part is limited on the left and right sides respectively by a side bolster for supporting a vehicle seat user, wherein the respective side bolster comprises at least one pillow that is deformable in seat width direction and at least one cushioning portion in which the at least one pillow is embedded, wherein in the at least one cushioning portion made of foam material a wear fabric for stabilization thereof is foamed in flat fashion, at least partially encompassing the at least one embedded pillow, wherein at least in a part of the area spanned by the wear fabric the fibers of the wear fabric are aligned at an angle differing from 0° to the seat width direction.
