A device (1, 100) for managing a battery, including: - a first coupled inductor element (4, 400), such as for example a motor, connected to an electric plug adapted to be connected to an electrical grid (3), - a first electronic bridge (5), connected to the first coupled inductor element (4, 400), - a capacitor (6), connected to the first electronic bridge (5), - a second electronic bridge (7), connected to the capacitor (6), - a second coupled inductor element (8), which defines the primary element of a transformer (9), the transformer (9) including a secondary element (10); the second coupled inductor element (8) being connected to the second electronic bridge (7), - a first rectifier (11), which is connected to the secondary element (10) of the transformer (9), wherein the second coupled inductor element (8) and the first rectifier (11) are connected alternatively to a battery (12) by means of a first switching device (110), and therein the battery (12) is connected to the capacitor (6) by means of a first switch (120).
