Device for transmission of electrical current and/or signals in a motor vehicle

A device (1) for transmitting electrical current and/or signals in a motor vehicle is provided. The device (1) comprises a coil spring cassette (2) consisting of a stator (4) and a rotor (5), in which at least one line (7) running in windings is arranged, which is connected at one end to the stator (4) and at the other end to the rotor (5), and at least one fixing element (3), by means of which a relative position of stator (4) and rotor (5) to one another, which is predetermined for installation of the coil spring cassette (2) in the steering wheel of the motor vehicle, is fixed. The fixing element is a film-like label (3) which is attached to the outside of the coil spring cassette (2) and extends from the rotor (5) to the stator (4). The label (3) is mechanically secured to both the stator (4) and the rotor (5).
