Power transfer assembly

A power transfer assembly comprises a power source (30) capable of providing torque output, and a powered axle assembly (16). The powered axle assembly (16) includes a first one-way clutch (54) which is configured to receive torque input from the power source (30) and a second one-way clutch (56) which is configured to receive torque input from the power source (30), wherein the first one-way clutch (54) is further configured to transmit at least a first portion of the received torque input to a first half-axle (36), and wherein the second one-way clutch (56) is further configured to transmit at least a second portion of the received torque input to a second half-axle (38).
