  "textContent": "The present invention relates to a key switch (1) for safety-relevant applications, in particular for deactivating an airbag, comprising a switch housing (2), a lock cylinder (3) which is rotatably arranged in the switch housing (2) about a rotation axis (4), an axial key opening (8) for axially inserting a key (5), an insertion channel (9) which is open to the key opening (8) and at least one radial guide opening (10) which is open to the insertion channel (9), a locking element (11) arranged in the switch housing (2) which can be moved by means of the key (5) from a locked position (VS) to an unlocked position (ES) and which is driven into the locked position (VS) by means of at least one spring element (12), wherein the lock cylinder (3), with the locking element (11) adjusted into the unlocked position (ES), is rotatably adjustable between a first switching position and a second switching position by means of the key (5), wherein the lock cylinder (3) is secured against rotation relative to the switch housing (2) by the locking element (11) adjusted into the locked position (VS).
