The invention relates to a vehicle convertible top fabric, containing a woven web (2) of warp and weft yarns (3, 4) interwoven with one another based on polymeric plastics, wherein the warp yarns (3) are formed from warp threads (30) and the weft yarns (4) are formed from weft threads (40) and wires of electrically conductive material are embedded in the woven web (2), wherein at least some of the warp yarns (3) comprise warp threads (30) which are twisted together with at least one monofilament and electrically conductive stainless steel wire (5) to form the warp yarns (3); and/or at least some of the weft yarns (4) comprise weft threads (40) which are twisted together with at least one monofilament and electrically conductive stainless steel wire (5) to form the weft yarns (4).
