Running roller (1) in particular for sliding doors with a hub (11) and a running ring (13), which are positively connected to one another and aligned coaxially with respect to a running roller axis (x). According to the invention, the hub (11) has at least one outwardly directed first form element (1111; 1121; 1131) and the running ring (13) has at least one inwardly directed second form element (1312; 1322; 1332). Between the hub (11) and the running ring (13), an annular buffer (12) is provided, which has at least one inwardly directed third form element (1213; 1223; 1233), which is connected to the first form element (1111; 1121; 1131) of the hub (11), and at least one outwardly directed fourth form element (1214; 1224; 1234), which is connected to the second form element (1312; 1322; 1332) of the running ring (13). Furthermore, the buffer (12) or a part thereof is made of a softer plastic than the hub (11) and the running ring (13), which are made of a harder plastic.
