A seat modification assembly for use with a passenger seat (10) provided in a mass transport vehicle, especially an aircraft, comprises at least one seat modification element (12; 14; 22; 30) adapted to change the ergonomic seating profile of a passenger seat (10) provided with the seat modification assembly, wherein the at least one seat modification element (12; 14; 22; 30) comprises at least one mounting means (34a, 40a) adapted for detachably mounting the seat modification element (12; 14; 22; 30) to a portion (16; 20) of the passenger seat (10).
