Charging cable assembly for a motor vehicle and motor vehicle equipped with same

The invention relates to a charging cable storage arrangement (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising: a charging cable (2) with a charging plug (4) attached to one end thereof for connecting the charging cable (2) to a charging station, a receiving container (5) in whose interior space (6) the charging plug (4) can be stored, wherein the receiving container (5) has an opening (7) for removing or inserting the charging plug (4), as well as a license plate mounting device (8) for mounting a motor vehicle license plate, which can be moved from a position covering the opening (7) to a position freeing the opening (7) and vice versa. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle with such a charging cable storage arrangement (1), in which the receiving container (5) is mounted in an area behind a motor vehicle license plate, in particular in an area behind a rear motor vehicle license plate.
