The invention relates to a device comprising a distribution housing including an intake camshaft and an exhaust camshaft, a vacuum pump (10) being housed in the distribution housing and presenting a rotor (10a) driven in rotation for creating a depression in an associated conduit, characterized in that the driving of the vacuum pump (10) is effected by a belt (7) driven outside the distribution housing, the belt (7) driving the vacuum pump (10) directly or indirectly.
