An axle lift for a vehicle axle guided on an axle control arm mounted in a vehicle-fixed support via a pivot pin (6A) is proposed, comprising a force member (11) with a pressure transmission (20) movable against the axle control arm by actuation of the force member (11) and a bracket (12) for fastening the force member (11) to the support (2), wherein an elongated opening (55) formed in the bracket (12) or in the support (2) is part of the fastening. In order to make the positioning of the bracket part receiving the force member of the axle lift unambiguous and therefore unique with regard to the desired lifting geometry, the elongated opening (55) is composed of alternating narrowed sections and widened sections, wherein the width on the narrowed sections is at least equal to the shaft or thread diameter of a screw (53) inserted into the opening (55).
