"textContent": "The invention relates to a driver assistance method, wherein a driver of a vehicle (1) is haptically informed through a change in steering resistance that an object (2) is in the way. To this end, it is provided that objects (2) are detected in a detection range (8) of an environmental detection device (11), free path lengths are determined with respect to adjustable steering angles, wherein the free path lengths are determined by distances of the vehicle (1) to the detected objects (2), a counter-moment profile is determined for each adjustable steering angle, and the steering resistance is subjected to a counter-moment value T during a steering movement by the driver, which is determined from the counter-moment profile. The invention furthermore relates to a driver assistance system which is configured to carry out the method.",
