The invention proposes an autonomous robot (1), such as an autonomous lawn mower, comprising: - at least one camera (2) for obtaining at least one input image, - a communication interface (3) for transmitting the input image and receiving a remote control instruction, - a control unit (4) for controlling an operation of the autonomous robot (1), wherein the control unit (4) is adapted to control the operation at the autonomous robot (1) in response to the received remote control instruction.
