An angle mirror for armored vehicles is provided, comprising a prism block (2) in a housing (3) with a viewing aperture (4) and an exit aperture (5) as well as a display unit (6) arranged opposite to the viewing aperture side for mirror-free deflection display of information in the viewing aperture (4), which in a functionally reliable design significantly improves the display capability, which is achieved in that an exit image is visible in a lower area (10) and a display image of the display unit (6) is visible in an upper area (9) of the viewing aperture (4), and in that the upper area (9) of the viewing aperture (4) corresponds to at least half the measure of the height of the viewing aperture (4).
