ARRANGEMENTS FOR FIXING A CARGO CARRIER TO A LOAD CARRIER

Disclosed are configurations for securing an accessory to a load carrier. The configurations comprise an adapter or a quick-lock fixation unit. The accessory may be a cargo carrier, for example a load receptacle. The load carrier can be a bike carrier. The adapter is configured to convert a portion of the load carrier, for example a wheel tray portion of a bike carrier, into a supporting portion for the accessory. The adapter may act as an interface between the wheel tray portion and the cargo carrier.
