A laser level assembly comprises a mounting bracket comprising an attachment bracket and a movable bracket. A laser level is mounted on the movable bracket, the laser level configured to project at least one of a horizontal line, a vertical line, or a laser spot. A first motor is in the movable bracket, the first motor being configured to drive movement of the movable bracket relative to the attachment bracket. The movable bracket comprises a base part configured to support the laser level and a battery cap part attached to the base part. There is a first sealing member between the base part and the battery cap part.
