THERMAL ACCUMULATION ELEMENT WITH PCM SUBSTANCE, METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION AND ITS USE

Metal foam (1) is placed inside the casing (2), whereby at least part of the casing (2) is from malleable thin-layered material, which is designed for deformation during an underpressure inside the casing (2). The metal foam (1) is at adjacent contact with at least 75% of the surface of the inner wall of the casing (2) and inside the casing there is the underpressure against the outside environment with difference at least 5% at the whole temperature operation range. The malleable thin-layered material is a metal sheet or a metal foil, preferably aluminum sheet or an aluminum foil with thickness up to 1,0 mm. The metal foam (1) is aluminum-based and it has closed structure of the pores; it has at least 20 pores per 1 cm and its porosity is 88% at maximum. During the production, one follows the method where PCM substance (3) in the liquid state is placed into 95% to 98% of the available inside porous volume of the metal foam (1) at maximum, and then the component of the metal foam (1) is hermetically closed into the casing (2) with permanent underpressure inside the casing (2).
