Raising lowering valve unit

The invention relates to a raise-lower valve unit (1) for an air suspension system of a commercial vehicle. In such raise-lower valve units (1), locking of a RAISE and/or LOWER position is accomplished via a locking or locking device (1), in which a locking or locking element (51) engages in a locking or locking recess (56). According to the invention, the locking or locking element (51) is guided in a switching member (16) and is movable out of the switching member (16) to bring about the locking or locking position, whereby it can engage in the locking or locking recess (56) of a housing (2).
