The high power uninterruptible power supply includes an electric cabinet includes a battery string with a controllable current path therethrough including at least one battery module. A first output electrically connected to a first end of the battery string and which is connectable to a first load of the stationary electric system. A second output electrically connected to the battery string so as to facilitate supplying a load with the voltage of at least one battery module. A string controller configured for controlling the current path through the battery string and thereby the voltage level of at least one of the first and second uninterruptible power supply output.
