Lighting device

According to one embodiment, there is provided a lighting device which includes a substrate; a light emitting element which is provided on the substrate; and a resistive element which is provided on the substrate, and is connected to the light emitting element in series, in which a voltage rate of the resistive element when a value of a first voltage which is reduced to half is applied to a first circuit to which the light emitting element and the resistive element are connected in series becomes equal to or smaller than 25% of a voltage rate of the resistive element when the first voltage is applied to the first circuit.
