A support assembly for supporting a free end of a parabolic leaf spring, the support assembly comprising a support member having a support surface upon which said fee end of leaf spring may be slidably supported, said support member being pivotally mounted on the chassis or body to maintain the support surface parallel to said free end of the leaf spring to ensure even contact between the support surface and the free end of the leaf spring.
