Fuel injector valve for combustion engines
DRIVE
January 14, 2015
Fuel injection valve 1 for internal combustion engines for injecting fuel under high pressure with a pressure chamber 22 formed in a nozzle body 2, in which a nozzle needle 3 is arranged to be longitudinally displaceable, wherein the nozzle needle 3 through its longitudinal movement cooperates with a nozzle needle seat 21 and thereby opens and closes at least one injection opening 20. On the nozzle needle 3, a throttle sleeve 10 is guided to be longitudinally displaceable, wherein when the nozzle needle 3 is seated against the nozzle needle seat 21, the throttle sleeve 10 is clamped against a sealing surface 25 of the nozzle body 2, and wherein the nozzle needle 3 during its opening stroke movement comes into contact with a nozzle needle shoulder 30 on the throttle sleeve 10 and lifts it off the sealing surface 25 and thereby opens up a gap between throttle sleeve 10 and sealing surface 25.
