VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR A SPRING-LOADED BRAKE

Valve arrangement (10) for a spring-applied brake (20), comprising: a first inlet port (E1), a second inlet port (E2) and a first outlet port (A1), wherein the valve arrangement (10) is adjustable between a normal position (a), in which the first inlet port (E1) is connected to the first outlet port (A1), and an emergency release position (b), in which the first inlet port (E1) is shut off from the first outlet port (A1), and the second inlet port (E2) is connected to the first outlet port (A1), wherein the valve arrangement (10) further comprises: an actuating element (32) to adjust the valve arrangement (10) into the emergency release position (b), as well as a locking means (34) to lock the valve arrangement (10) in the emergency release position (b), wherein the valve arrangement (10) further comprises a control port (S) in order to effect an adjustment of the valve arrangement (10) into the normal position (a) upon sufficient pressure application, as well as a control line (40) which connects the first (E1) or the second (E2) inlet port to the control port (S).
