BICYCLE ELEMENT

A bicycle element comprises the bicycle component (10) as well as a second bicycle component (12). The two bicycle components (10, 12) are pivotally connected to one another via a pivot element (14). A damping fluid is provided in the pivot element (14) for damping pivoting movements. By means of a variation element such as an electromagnet (22), the damping properties can be modified.
