METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BRAKING IN A VEHICLE AND A VEHICLE HAVING A CONTROL UNIT IN WHICH THE METHOD IS EXECUTED

The invention relates to a method for controlling brakes (25) via an electronic brake system in a braked, stationary vehicle (13) upon level change. According to the invention, it is provided that upon detection of tension in the vehicle (13), the electronic brake system releases brakes (25) of the vehicle (13) on both sides, but only to such an extent that a reduced braking effect is still present. Further inventions are a vehicle (13) with a control device (23) in which the method is carried out, a truck combination (11,13) with such a vehicle (13), and a control device (23) suitable for the brake system of the vehicle (13).
