Assembly for electrical wires installed in a motor vehicle

An arrangement for electrical lines is provided, which are mounted in a steering column switch module and/or in a steering wheel placed on the same of a motor vehicle equipped with an on-board electrical system and are electrically conductively connected with one of their ends respectively to an electrical component, which is mounted in the steering column switch module or in the steering wheel fastened thereto. At least two of the lines are connected with their other, free ends to electrical contacts, which are arranged in at least one coupling body (10) made of insulating material such that they are accessible on a plug-in side thereof for plugging in an electrical plug element. The coupling body (10) is mounted with an externally accessible plug-in side on or in the steering column switch module (5) of the motor vehicle, and in the mounting position, an electrical line leading to the on-board electrical system of the motor vehicle is connected to the coupling body (10) via a plug element attached thereto.
