Streamlined fairinged flat wiper blade (1), in particular for a vehicle, characterized in that it comprises: a longitudinal wiping blade (8), at least one longitudinal stiffening rib (6), a longitudinal holding member (7) for said wiping blade and said stiffening rib, a longitudinal fairing (2, 3) comprising two end caps (3) and a central mounting (2) extending between the end caps and being connected to the latter, the mounting comprising means for fastening to said stiffening rib or to said holding member of this rib, and each cap comprising guide means for translational movement of end portions of said member.
