Plastic-sheathed mercaptosilane wax mixture

The invention relates to a plastic-coated mercaptosilane-wax blend, wherein the plastic of the plastic coating is selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or mixtures of the aforementioned plastics with a melting temperature of 70 - 170°C and the mercaptosilane-wax blend contains at least one mercaptosilane of the general formula I and at least one wax with a solidification point of 30 - 160°C. The plastic-coated mercaptosilane-wax blend can be used in rubber mixtures.
