  "textContent": "The invention relates to a support (30) for a bicycle carrier (10) or as a component of a bicycle carrier (10) for transporting a bicycle (80) at a rear (92) or on a roof of a motor vehicle (90), wherein the bicycle carrier (10) has parking areas (15) arranged at a distance from one another for parking a front wheel (81) and a rear wheel (82) of the bicycle (80) and the support is provided for supporting a frame (84) of the bicycle (80) between the parking areas (15), wherein the support has a mounting device (40) for releasably fastening the frame (84) of the bicycle (80) to a support arm (33) of the support. It is provided that the mounting device (40) has at least one elongated engagement body (41) for engagement in a bottom bracket inner space (89) of a bottom bracket (86) of the bicycle (80), wherein the bottom bracket inner space (89) extends along the axis of rotation of the bottom bracket (86), and that the support has a support body (52) and a counter-bearing body (59) which, in an assembled and bicycle (80) holding retention state of the mounting device (40), are disposed opposite one another and support facing end sides (86A, 86B) of the bottom bracket (86) or frame regions of the bicycle (80) that receive the bottom bracket, wherein in the retention state the at least one engagement body (41) extends between the counter-bearing body (59) and the support body (52) and engages in the bottom bracket inner space (89).",
